Corcraft is the industry program within the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. We employ incarcerated individuals to produce goods while preparing them for release by teaching them work skills, work ethic and responsibility. The industry program is voluntary.
Corcraft is funded through the state budgetary process, in conjunction with the passing of DOCCS' budget, and an internal services fund. The revenue received from the sale of products and services covers the expenses associated with operating the program.
Our mission is to employ incarcerated individuals in real work situations, produce quality goods and services at competitive prices and deliver on time at a minimal cost to the taxpayer.
